Please note: The following process is based on our complete package, the full works, which can be seen in the timelapse video below. Please refer to our package guide to see which steps apply to your package. As a guide, for an average sized kitchen, the respray process generally takes around 7 days, from start to finish.
-
1 Onsite Preparation
-
We remove any doors, drawer fronts and plinth which we need to take to our workshop for spraying and wash down the rest of the kitchen with industrial solvent cleaning solution. Then, any areas of the kitchen which are not being sprayed are masked off. This process usually takes 3 - 4 hours.
-
2 Onsite Painting
-
We rub down any surfaces which are to be sprayed and activate our portable extractor fume and dust extractor. We then apply the first coating of solvent based primer grip coat and leave for 60 minutes to hard cure, after which is it lightly abraded. Next we apply the top coat in your chosen colour, which we leave for 80 minutes until it is touch dry. Once the onsite spraying is complete we de-mask and clean up.
-
3 Offsite Painting
-
Any items removed in Step 1 are taken to our workshop, where we will wash them down, sand and prime them, apply a top coat and gently cure them in our purpose-built, temperature controlled paint spraying facility. They are then hand packed, delivered back to you and refitted.
Important points to note before we arrive:
- Please make sure your work surfaces are clear. You don’t need to empty your cupboards.
- Please clean all items to be sprayed. We may charge if we need to deep clean any kitchen doors, drawer fronts etc.
- We do not spray the inside of carcasses unless requested. This service will incur an extra charge.
- Once you have booked your kitchen respray and a collection date has been arranged and confirmed, cancellations within 10 days of this date are subject to a charge of 15% of the original quotation price.
